Intensive Moscow's Assaults Disrupt Power Across Ukraine's Capital

Throughout the evening, Moscow's missile and drone strikes have caused power cuts in extensive areas of Ukraine's capital, the Ukrainian capital.

A number of civilians were wounded while local people in eastern districts were left without electricity and encountered disruption to water supplies, as stated by city officials.

At the same time, a seven-year-old child was killed in a separate aerial attack in the Zaporizhzhia region in the country's south-east, based on information from local officials.

Moscow has increased attacks on power infrastructure over the past few days, while the country's government has demanded "real steps" from partner nations to apply pressure on Moscow.

"What is required is not superficial actions but firm measures - from the United States, Europe and the major economies - in delivering air defence systems and applying sanctions," was stated in a social media post.

Officials stated that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and several dozen rockets targeted energy facilities, characterizing such assaults as "cynical and calculated" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as temperatures become colder.

Government representatives said Moscow was "launching a major assault" and repair crews were working to restore power.

A series of attacks hit energy infrastructure and apartment buildings in the capital.

Multiple people hurt in the attacks on the capital have been hospitalized, according to municipal representatives.

Local officials said the urban area endured heavy assaults during nighttime hours. A seven-year-old child died and three other people were hurt.

The assaults follow evenings of bombing campaigns in the territory, portions of which are occupied by Russian forces.

All of Ukraine is under warning for hypersonic Kinzhal missile strikes, which are tougher to identify.

Authorities told journalists that Russia was intentionally trying to damage the electrical infrastructure, with strikes already disrupting fuel infrastructure.

Officials stated technical personnel and officials were bracing for more assaults.
